THERE IS ALWAYS PARIS
One mission, one industry, one product
We are pleased and proud that IMS has selected France’s to host the 19th World Meat Congress.
The international meat industry will therefore be gathering in Paris on June 4, 5 and 6, 2012.
For the organisers, INTERBEV and INAPORC, and with the support of the federations representing our European colleagues, this is an opportunity to demonstrate the vitality of the meat and livestock farming, production and distribution sectors in France and the rest of Europe.
It is also a chance to affirm our industry’s responsiveness to growing consumer demand for high-quality food. We are proud to be providing our fellow citizens with healthy, appetizing and flavoursome nutrition.
We will be inviting leading analysts and other specialists to highlight current developments in our industry, the benefits of meat, and the wide range of expertise involved in its production.
Our ambition for the 2012 event is to showcase the industry’s essential role in human, environmental and economic development. This is the message we will be conveying to the senior policymakers whom we have invited to outline their vision of our sector’s role in current trends.
We must also remember our cultural obligations, and the closing banquet will celebrate the fact that France’s cuisine has been awarded UNESCO world heritage status.
For all these reasons and many others, we very much look forward to seeing you in Paris. In the finest French tradition, we will do our best to ensure your visit is both beneficial and enjoyable.
